Testing cars sounds like a lot of fun right? Well a lot of the time it can be but it really does depend on which part of the car you are testing. If you think about how Top Gear tests the cars they have then you will see that is the best way to go about testing a car. Sure it happens to see how fast the car can go as they have to actually find the right figure or the car is not allowed to be released. There are of course many tests that have to be doen before you get to this stage.
This is where it starts to get a bit difficult and perhaps even dangerous. This is where many people will not be interested in doing it because it sounds very dull when of course it isn’t.
Testing a car is not just about the speed it is about every single part of the car which is why they are all tested. Once this has happened and you get the complete package they must test it in a number of climates including hot, cold and even corrosive to make sure the car could get through it.
Once these tests have gone thorough you will then be allowed to go onto the more fun stages of crashing it, driving over speed bumps as fast as you go and generally the things the guys at Top Gear get up too.
Although they do not take it seriously, it is a very serious and dangerous job.
