Disneyworld is certainly a place where so many people get married each year which is great stuff really, so let’s take look at some of the main reasons that people get married in Disney and just how much this is going to cost someone.
The Wedding Chapel
All the way back in 1995 it would seem that Disney built a Victorian style Summerhouse in an aim to actually get Disney in the wedding business. They realised that thousands of people were visiting the parks for their honeymoon (it is the biggest place in the USA for honeymooners) so they thought they would get into the wedding business too. The first wedding that occurred in this place was televised to make it public Disney were doing this.
Since the opening of the chapel over 27,000 couples have been married here (on average 1,500 a year) which is a pretty amazing figure. Considering my girlfriend wants to get married here it is actually going to cost a bit, we are living in the UK which adds up to more! (we do visit Florida often though).
Magical Experience
If you are a true Disney fan then you are really going to want to get married, you can have Cinderella’s carriage as transportation and you can get married right in front of the Magic Kingdom, you can have get your favourite Disney characters to turn up on the big day which is pretty awesome. If you are planning on getting married in the Magic Kingdom you better have enough money because this is going to cost (on average) 25,000 dollars, if only I had that amount of money!
Although getting married in Disney is going to be expensive, it is well worth it because it is Disney and the day will be great!
You might not want to book that Brighton photographer and that wedding photography Hampshire until you are out there so you don’t have to pay for them too! Leave those serviced offices and get hitched in Disney!
